The airline industry has had M&A for decades and we will see more M&A in the future. You are just along for the ride and work for them. This is what you signed up for as an "employee". If you dont like it, you can gladly quit and go start a company or business and then you can be in charge. Pilots are along for the ride!

The company has already decided they are not merging.
As for the OG quote. For anyone who lives in the USA, has had a job working for a big business, and is over the age of 30. This comment is like loudly proclaiming that water is wet. It's great that you can drag the few people who are not in the know on board, but it is really just not as insightful as you might think.

As far as shrsailplanes If you don't like it here at F9 you should be working harder to move on. If you can't move on because of time or whatever just be glad to be sitting in an Airbus. All Companies hire based on Attitude If you can't put together a good one you better settle in for the long haul. If the operation gets to you to much consider Sky West. A lot of interviews are setup to be long to ware you down just to see if you will bad mouth your current employer. You might be better off working at a company you can be proud of before you able to move on. At any rate judging by your comments over the past few months you seem toxic. The longer you hold onto that the more damage it will do to you.
