And yet you got an additional 5 years which completely devastated many, many others. And at least you get those 5 years. I know people who lost their jobs in the 08 recession and were too old to be competitive in the decade that followed unless they started over at entry level pay. Like I said, you are fortunate to be a multi-millionaire right now and if you're not, you have no one to blame but yourself.

But we are only talking just about past. This job may not even exist in 30 years when a large chunk of legacy pilots would be starting to prepare for retirement. Demanding to stay and soak up the best wages and seniority without even acknowledging the WAY more turbulent future ahead is not just selfish but sociopathic.
