To say that pilot actually took money from other pilots is completely disingenuous and incorrect. You can slam your fists down on the table and call the contract unfair as many times as you’d like. But when you falsely accuse other pilots of scamming or stealing, you’re playing right into management’s hand by being ignorant of the contract and shooting inside the circle.
Many do it precisely for that outcome. I still still a scam that it’s even a possibility. It needs to be fixed asap. It’s stealing money from some pilots to give to other pilots because it’s a scam loophole that it pays out the way it does. Changing it asap is the right thing to do.
