I could be wrong- usually am- but it I think the author of the title of this thread and anyone else referring to “Eagle” just didn’t want to type out “wholly-owned” or Envoy/PSA/Piedmont. I don’t think they are out of touch (with who works for whom) at all. I think it was probably just easier/lazier to say “Eagle”.
We all know who “eagle” pilots work for.
