And our union bought the smoke and mirrors story...we should've scheduled an "emergency" picket for the next day after the meeting. It's still Indigo we/re dealing with - even moreso now that BB is gone. Why we keep thinking they are ever gonna all of the sudden be different is beyond me.
In JD's defense, he is interim, the email regarding BB leaving came across as he was fired. During the holidays, basically no one is working, even if he wanted to have a plan faster, no one would be in the office to work on it. It is basically a corporate 2 week vacation.
Giving him time he asked for is fine, I am sure he wasn't expecting it, given the tone of the email about BB.
Union gives him 30 days, we should have had our picket rescheduled for the day after and nother in Feb.
We just gave away a picket that WE took off for and planned. Now we have no picket and we also lost meetings for mediation. But yeah, I guess it is just status quo with no plans to organize more pickets until we hear from JD, which THEN we can plan another picket 3 months from then.
