If I had a paid move, I probably would have exercised it, but I am too senior to get displaced and DEN didn't get the voluntary option. It's a great base, especially if you like to play the game. Solid people and great chief pilots. SWA just soured on building it up with personnel. It's biting them in the ass right now anytime weather rolls through as they don't have as many crews in place there.

Such is life in the airline game, though. The only constant is change. As someone said above, if you told me 10 years ago that you could hold Orlando and BWI before OAK, I would have been like "sure, Jan."
lol. Nope. You have it completely backwards. Especially the first line. Where was that airlines HQ ? What relationship did the Orwellian operational HQ elements have with the ATL pilots and FA’s ? Consider that they were in some very uncivil contract negotiations for ~ six years. Which was a record (I believe).
