Most SKW pilots are leary of alpa, and joining ASA would result in the whole group going alpa. Also at this time there is no whipsaw between ASA and SKW and compensation is essentially the same.

With SKW non-union I do not believe that the SKW pilots could force a merger with ASA against management's will. I think we would have to vote in a union first. Management could force a merger if they wanted to, but a union vote would follow, and would pass.
