Not trying to pile on here, but this kind of covetous FOMO attitude is poison - most especially to yourself. Don't measure your happiness by someone else's incredibly good (and lucky) fortune.

BTW, it won't be 20 years. It will probably be less than 10, which is more like the historical average, obtw. If you are successful in a legacy interview, you will still be a multi-millionaire, and have a great career. I'd strongly advise anyone looking for a CJO not to poison yourself by constantly giving the side eye to someone who had a lucky birthday (or SSN, or...)
