Gosh… The last strike that I remember was in 2010, by Spirit Pilots. The strike, I think, lasted, what about 5 days? There were reports that some pilots crossed the line. Other than the Spirit strick, I can’t remember any major job action, since Eastern Airlines pilots and mechanics, back in March, 1989, some 36 years ago… How many surviving pilots crossing a picket line are in the cockpit, and are above ground?

I’ll wager more pilots, of today, are better educated consumers, in deciding, if it’s worth their careers, self respect, and judgement by their peers, to cross a picket line.
