So what alternative are you suggesting? Someone has to fill the higher paying positions, who should it be? This is how the industry works and everyone learns to embrace it. Almost all aspects of our contract heavily weigh seniority and there's not a single other way to do it that won't get you roasted here. Take a look at the earnings thread and you will see that any seat can be lucrative. There are several ways to make money beyond the pay charts.

I have a friend hired in their 20s as a hedge fund manager making 7 digits. But that firm isn't hiring this year. Is that fair? It's just life dude. This attitude isn't going to get you hired, generally any pilot here is happy no matter where they land.
