I said it in another thread, but with us hiring again, I can guarantee we are going to see a lot of guys washing their resume with SWA again. With how much United and AA are still hiring. Sucks, but I think it’s just the reality. Maybe not a bad time to get in at United if they really want 25,000+ pilots.
I just don’t see how UAL’s goal is tenable. There aren’t enough people to go around for all the legacies/major airlines. They’ll have to absorb regionals or something if they want to keep hiring 2-4k/year indefinitely.
