Jetblue has strong brand recognition in NE and Florida in particular. How many JB card holders are becoming Breeze frequent fliers because they live closer to these secondary cities and aren’t traveling to a hub city like BOS/JFK/FLL/MCO?
Your comment underscores a mentality which, IMHO, contributes to many of the problems Jetblue faces. Jetblue seems to fall back on this mentality almost assuming customer loyalty to the brand will supersede their desire to arrive on time or at all. Load factor and bookings may disagree but management seems to ignore some of this data.
