No, it isn’t a new airplane. At all. It’s been in service and flying for a full decade. We’ve had them for, what, 4 years now?
The thing is *always* broken for basically no reason. Even management openly acknowledges the reliability is “not where we want it to be.”
When you run short, E190-style regional hops with the A220, you wind up with compounding delays, leg after leg, and it isn’t making Jetblue any less Jetblue.
