Again, this was a line instructors opinion…here’s a more realistic observation for the month:

BNA has 46 captains out (11.3%).

DEN has 69 captains out (11.4%).

MDW has 67 captains out (10.7%).

BWI has 71 captains out (10.4%).

Lets just apply an across the board average of 10% of the seniority list is out right now.

This means approximately 1126 pilots are out on medical leave of absence.
