Movement is crazy right now at AA/UA and we will find ourselves in the left seat again hopefully soon. Let NK go, it’s over. Although not as many as most left but 9 years was not easy to give up. Still glad I did. Outside super low time FOs who shouldn’t have been at spirit to begin with if the industry was not hiring record low time guys and girls for a time, if you wanna leave you can. These “good guys and gals” that are getting shut down in interviews come across arrogant. That’s the only reason they aren’t getting picked up. A lot of that comes from not just letting NK go. Accept reality, move on
Great post! Still lots of guys with the “not slinging gear for anybody” attitude. Everyone has a choice on what to do but I’m sure sleeping is better when the worry is gone. Flew with one guy that has financially overextended himself to show his AA friends that NK is just as good. He’s too broke to leave now.
