If blocking laser energy were that simple, then every military guy would wear a pair of magic laser-blocking eyewear.

Unfortunately, it's not.

Laser eye protection is only able to block specific wavelengths of laser energy. You can obtain different glasses that block different wavelengths, but there is no one-stop-shop solution.
