Starting to believe that Delta is going to be hiring north of 1200 pilots this year. They recently posted that they would not be attending NGPA due to unforeseen scheduling/circumstances. However, they will be sending a big team out for WIA. Additionally they mentioned a 'big year of hiring' ahead. I think the folks citing 1500-1600 hires will be correct. As someone looking to make the jump, I am getting cautiously optimistic.
On the employee town hall, Ed went off about how we are doing the same amount of flying with thousands more pilots, he didn't sound too keen on aggressive hiring plans.
