Spirit isn’t going to get bought by frontier the same reason we aren’t going to buy them. Neither airline wants to take on the debt. The best thing for the industry is to let them go bankrupt. The best thing morally is to save them and help the employees. Who knows what’s actually going to happen but I’m sure we find out soon.
Thing is Spirits owners are also the primary debt holders. They have the ability to structure a deal and the debt however they want. Debt can be converted to equity.
