Do I enjoy what’s happening right now wrt to scheduling? Nope.
But all these mental gymnastics aside, calling it “my” trip is entitlement.
He didn’t know. But relative, to the junior person who got it, it was his. Yes, that’s barring someone senior to him who would’ve gotten it.
I think it’s mental gymnastics to willingly not know what hockeypilot meant: that the trip was “his” moreso than the junior pilots’. I’m 169% sure hockeypilot knows that if a senior pilot to him wanted the same trip he wouldn’t have gotten it.
