Go to the counter. "I'd like the jumpseat please"
"ok. We have 10 open seats. Would you like window or aisle?"
"aisle please"
"Here is your CASS approval and your boarding pass. Have a nice flight."

show the jumpseat pass to the ops agent. Board early and give the pass with cass approved to a pilot. Then take a seat in back.

This doesn't seem like it needs to be as complicated as they are making it.
