The 88 ACARS head was anti microbial. Not because of any special coating, but its operating temperature was only slightly below that of the surface of Venus. It was so hot the engineers had to place it at a steep enough angle to not be useable as a coffee cup warmer.
I remember, and it also had the added bonus of a semipermeable layer of crumbs and dust that kept you from actually touching the screen.
