I feel like one of the keys to this merger panning out well for the business is to grow the airline into markets that mimic what SY does in MSP.
I think it’s a fair assessment to say CVG and BNA would continue with the cargo complementing the scheduled service and seasonal flying. I know we’ve been trying to expand BWI and MSY for a time. It all will depend on which side of the coin this small base idea lands. Personally I don’t think they will get rid of it. Just not enough gate space in places like IWA, PGD, SFB…etc. cheaper to make small bases than overnight and pay for hotels, contract mx, gate space and the like.
