Just uproot your family and get senior, like yesterday.
It really depends on your base. In ATL, far more IAs go out than GS which QS will at least restore some order to. In some of the smallest bases, hardly any IAs go out. So almost no change there. It's not a perfect solution but it should at least put an end to the worst of the deal making/shenanigans for the time being. As well as an end to the random phone blasts in the middle of the night whether you want an IA/QS or not.

QS may not be a long term solution anyway depending on what happens in section 6 coming up. The company will almost certainly come hard to change the current trip coverage process, so that will be something to watch. At the very least, it is well within the realm of possibility that at least 2 of QS, GS, and SLV end up on the same counter. The survey made it clear that it's under consideration. I don't think anyone's realistic intention was to give senior pilots 3+ bites at the premium apple before other pilots when it was basically 1 bite 5 years ago. At least not outside the fringes.
