Unless I misunderstood, Scott just commented in the Q&A on the earnings call that he hopes to push AAL from a supposed $500 million ORD loss in 2025 to a BILLION DOLLAR LOSS yes, $1000 million in ORD alone for the coming year.
Gate wars seem to be on... get ready for the ORD delays!
And Scott closed the Q&A with someone asking (paraphrased):
Q: Is it safe to assume UAL will be adding flights in Chicago? ...
Scott: "Yes" (long pause)
Q: Can you give more about the color of those additions? ...
Scott: "Theirs will be in the red, and ours will be in the black"
