this is exactly correct. delta dropped the flights because of freedom getting the injunction. they told us this almost 2 or 3 weeks ago that june and july would be lean in atlanta as they redo the schedules. they will just give us more cities as time moves on. dont worry about it. if you just got awarded atlanta hang in there. you will probably be on reserve a little longer but we still have planes being delivered and we will still be growing in atlanta.
THIS IS NO BIG DEAL. if you are worried about it then you are wasteing time. worry about other stuff like us getting a contract.
and pinnacle isn't going anywhere in atlanta. we will grow there. pinnacle is is close to number 1 for atlanta departures.
As of yesterday's bulleting from DL network planning, there are no F8 ERJ lines after June 30th, just CR9 lines. Delta will continue to pay their ERJ contract but they won't be flying which means Delta doesn't have to pay for their fuel usage, which saves DL some $$$$$$!
