They need to drop the charade and commit long term to the aircraft they've already purchased via merger.

Also Airbus gave priority to United to get their A321 fleet up and running. I would imagine Toulouse would do the same for a "new" customer.

The airline just made a huge aircraft purchase and has basically laid out its short-term plan through 2030. You just saw the commitment. This airline is committed to Boeing. They could buy Spirit tomorrow and trust me when I say this, those Airbuses would go away eventually. The former President of Alaska is on the BOD at Boeing. The Amazon contract will for sure go away, I would bet my licenses on it. The next sure bet is that this airline will be a Boeing airline more than likely. The only variable is the island flying and even then I think we see the 717 replaced with 737s
