Starting class in March, curious about how the vacancy bids work. From my understanding the company takes unused vacancies from the company wide bid that go unfilled and have the option to use X amount for each new hire class. However, it seems to me that the company does not say how many of each fleet/base there are available. If I really want the 737, don’t care which base, even though the company has what seems like tons of unfilled 737, is there still a chance I’m “too junior” to hold the 737 if everyone ahead of me wants it?
