The issue I see is that they now own 15 of 24 A330’s, and how many of those 9 leases will actually stick around long term. That’s the elephant in the room, is that HNL could lose the leased 330’s if they are not bought or renewed.
BM said 41 wide bodies in 2035 so there’s a chance!
I don’t keep track of block hours… Has the 330 lost block hours with the loss of BOS, AUS, BNE, and will it lose hrs with the eventual transfer of ICN and Japan to the 787 out of SEA?
I don’t see how they keep all the 330’s ? I don’t have much of a crystal ball on 330’s on the mainland other than I don’t believe management would ever tell us at this point. Especially given the absolute nightmare that occurs everytime something negative happens to HI operations ( paint, call sign, gate markings)
I doubt AS would want to tell us plans that would give competitors lead time for a response.
