When I posted this poll, I took the company referenced airports in order of RON aircraft. SAN is number 4 on the list making it a possibility…but I’m not sure the benefit vs STL or MCI.
This next vacancy will be very interesting—I wonder if the company is weighing another domicile based on fallout from these displacements vs morale and future recruitment.
The only recruitment that might get hurt is guys that live in Denver. However, if I lived in Denver and was trying to get hired, I’d prioritize United over SWA anyway..
that being said, I’d love a SAN base. Be nice to know if/when it’s coming prior to bidding back to MCO and moving closer to MCO. I’ve gotten spoiled with the 15 minute drive in LAS. Don’t want to go back to the 2 hour drive to MCO.
