.FedEx has filed a Form 10 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for the planned spin-off of FedEx Freight.

• The company expects the spin-off to be completed on June 1, 2026, subject to final board approval and customary conditions, with FedEx Freight’s stock likely to be listed on the NYSE.

• FedEx has also taken steps like pricing a significant senior note offering to finance the transaction and naming leadership and a board for the future independent company. The spin-off has been publicly announced, is underway, and is expected to be completed in mid-2026.

So, instead of smart ass comments, I was going to start a discussion on what this would mean for us, and possible implications IF Freight acquires aircraft.
