DL and AF fly to CDG from LAX. And in NYC and ATL all four airline fly the same routes. It just seems odd that LAX is the anomaly. Its LA, not Kansas City.
A long time ago we flew LAX LHR on the 7ER (with the condo!). I'm guessing it all comes down to slot allocations, codeshares, and best use of our assets (airframes). Just a guess.
