Just a guess, but there are some markets where the point of sale is mostly Americans, on others it's mostly foreign, and some where it's split. In general, where POS is predominantly foreign, the JV host country preferably operates. I'd guess LAX does well with foreign POS and the stage is relatively long, and they are lower cost operators.
