Just be thankful for what it is now. When I hired on there were less than 60 NB B’s based there, a small ER base and most of it was subbed out to AS. It took them 8 years to figure out that market and start to even grow it. You get the weather and outdoor things to do, but arguably the worst flying. Get to a WB, fly your SYD and enjoy 19+ days off a month. Spend the rest of the days doing what other states plan vacations around.
some might say we should close LAX pilot base and open AUS…..
