Honestly the fancy new DLOne suites have similar issues, very hard and too upright (think wooden 50s school chair vibes) when in t/o and landing full up. While they look very nice, it seems obvious that whoever approved them has never flown longhaul on F/J or even done a cursory look at our competitors. AAs J seats are more comfortable, and UA and BA (new suites) have a significantly more comfortable seat in J: somewhat pre-reclined in upright and cloth with more give and cushion vs the hard fake leather.
