The "career expectations" line was always a whiny excuse to me. Kinda like Mom saying that I could be an astronaut someday, but failing one too many checkrides and ending up in tankers, then showing up the first day of astronaut class induction and saying "But Mom promised!!!!!"


Airline flying is not a career, it's a lottery.
