I’m genuinely happy for all those bootstraps captains. I just don’t care to hear about it.
It's a legitimate concern at that socioeconomic level.
Complaining about lot rent for a mobile home is a legitimate concern that would fall on deaf ears to an unhoused person.
Complaining about the food at a houseless shelter would fall on deaf ears in Guatemala.
This goes back to the definition of "Who's rich"?. A: Anyone above your economic level. If the problem is above your income/wealth level, it's a rich person's problem not worthy of your concern. The captain struggling to find a Porsche mechanic probably doesn't care about the cost of a Ferrari clutch replacement.
Is it safe to drop you in the Miata / Corvette crowd or do you feel guilty for being born into the Porsche class?
