I am no longer at B6, but we all (I along with all former and current JetBlue pilots) know that poor management (along with non pilot ops leadership, dispatch) is the Achilles heal of the company. Being sold to United eliminates that.

To your point powers higher up (at jetBlue) will do their best to prevent this considering the prevailing opinion that many on the board treat the airline solely as a venture vehicle to fund all of their side projects........this is where many on the board may have an ambiguous view of their fiduciary responsibilities to the duty of loyalty.
