From what I have been told, they want to close ORD, ATL, and DFW. They were thinking of closing LAS also, but they are afraid that it might pick up in the future. Furloughs/Downgrades will happen, unless attrition is so much that brings the pilot group down to 1000. They are terrified of being overstaffed and wont keep extra pilots around.
ORD 320 and DFW 320 are now going to newhires at AA. Guys starting next week who were ex DFW NK guys, there are a few, shouldn’t have to commute a day.
And before the usually few come on here with their “get out of here, who needs ya!” I’ll say, this isn’t for you but people who may be tired of the ride.
