From what I have been told, they want to close ORD, ATL, and DFW. They were thinking of closing LAS also, but they are afraid that it might pick up in the future. Furloughs/Downgrades will happen, unless attrition is so much that brings the pilot group down to 1000. They are terrified of being overstaffed and wont keep extra pilots around.
1000 pilots bc of work rule reductions they think they can get or 1000 pilots because we are going to 60 jets? Why not close IAH as well. I’m sure they will sell that hangar for cash if they have DTW
