I really don’t understand why you have to keep saying stuff like this, or be so unpleasant about it when I point out it’s flagrantly incorrect. You at least admitted you were wrong about your retirement number claims being more than 2X the reality. I don’t understand why you are now making similar claims about hiring.

The Attrition Report will be out this week, probably tomorrow and it will show the two classes in February. Just like the new hires have told me at the training center. Probably 40 ish. The last student I was paired with said one already left for Delta. Not a bad sign all things considered.

It’s great we are hiring again. It’s great we are still taking 6 MAX 8s this year. It’s a bummer but not as bad as it could have been that we only downgraded 5 so far (not great for those guys) in 2026.

However we lost 178 captains just in 2024 and 2025. We have yet to match this number. In hiring terms we are still lagging retirements.
