At the time, the recruiter told me to not worry about the private ride since it was so long ago, He said to not even worry too much about the CFII, since I had completed my multi afterward. He said the only real issue was my initial LOE bust, but told me, to let 2 years pass and have a successful captain upgrade and the initial LOE will be irrelevant. Well, I did that, its been 4 years now since the initial LOE, and I did have a successful captain upgrade. I suspect that my checkride history is what is hurting my app tho. What is the current hiring trend on this topic?
Like someone said the environment now is harder with spirit people coming etc. I’d get a meet and greet and another job fair, face to face time. Get a company to look over your app, checkandset etc etc improve low areas like volunteer (good way to do this imo is to foster a dog/cat and volunteer at a shelter that lets you not stick to a schedule)
