I perfer this over half the actual callouts we have. They're a mess. Overly verbose (1000 feet airpseed XXX sink rate YYY vs 1000 stable), lack consistency (1000 feet vs 500), don't make sense (no "continue" option), or were used as a blunt hammer to "solve" an issue rather than add a simple checklist step (set t/o thrust vs a/T armed on the before t/o checklist).
I still can't figure out why we have to say "landing gear" instead of "gear." Was there a question at some point of what gear we needed to have raised or lowered?
