now i have seen an ops agent toell the A no just because.
once in the air any FA can move a pax to a similar area. They have these areas on their ipad to help show them. As stated above can't go from row 33 to 1 etc.
I say it's about 50/50 of who will move a pax on the ground. Some say they dont even bother because ops agent said no one time.
I think having this talk when you check in would help.
FA- you good with me moving paxs on the ground?
Ops agent- sure just send me a connect message, or no way you dont have the authority!
As far as the other things mentioned. I think pre recorded safety brief would be nice. Standard and not personalized etc. If the FAs want to do open mic they can always add their flare at some point.
Not serving because we might hit a bump in 45 min is still out of control.
Just rode in the back on a 4 hr flight and no service for the first 2 hrs and it wasn't even light anything. They just kept telling everyone there is going to be turbulence so stay seated etc.
Also, what is the deal with everyone cleaning up with 45 min to go into DEN?
literally every single time I go into DEN in the back they say they need to clean up early because of turbulence real early and then its snooth for the next 30 min..
I look and see at what altitude the turb is forecast and then back it up 10 min based on descent profile and have them start cleaning up then. Usually it’s cleaned up by FL200-250 depending on the day. No need to clean up over UT or KS
