maybe the former head of Hawaiian can run Ford and have a great plan to mitigate the huge EV $$ losses they took, along with the rest of the big car manufacturers. Or didn’t MS.Now broadcast the story on the big car companies and their billions lost to the EV strategy? That may have only been a far right conspiracy story?
If we just replaced the land we use to produce corn ethanol for mixing into the gasoline supply with solar panels we'd have about 80% more electricity than we use every year. Build batteries for backup, wind for more backup, distribute it and run transmission lines so one bad weather day doesn't affect the whole system. Again that's talking two types of electricity. We don't have to be reliant on foreign countries for our energy needs. Oil coal and gas were great for getting us into the industrial era, but there are better technologies out there now. All I'm saying is that for a fraction of what we're spending on foreign wars, we could get there.
Just in reference to your $6 billion for 5 EV charging stations, your misinformation is old, that number is up to around 100 now and growing. That still wouldn't be great but there were something in the range of 27,000 that received or were going to receive funding under that contract, however the current administration halted that and only started releasing funds again once the lost in court over that funding halt.
