I’m honestly tired of hearing about JetForward. Management seems to think lounges and adding First Class — which keeps getting delayed with still no real details — are somehow going to save this airline. They can say JetForward is working all they want, but I’m just not seeing it. The network is a mess. Our schedules are all over the place with inconsistent times and frequencies that make no sense. Meanwhile, the product — both soft and hard — keeps falling further behind other airlines. Other than the extra legroom in coach (which will probably disappear eventually), there’s barely anything separating us from the rest of the pack. We keep hearing that our “culture” and “crew members” are what set us apart. That sounds nice, but it doesn’t fix the bigger problems. At this point, I honestly struggle to see how this place returns to consistent profitability again… unless it eventually involves a trip through Chapter 11 and shedding some debt.
