As for Continental, they may avoid bankruptcy just fine...but layoffs WILL happen. Sorry, I've been there before. Save whatever you can. Use the time off to learn a new trade perhaps. I hope I'm wrong on that. They laid off just a few years ago...recalled....then furloughed.
