I like popping in here to see what’s going on, but I’m starting to realize there’s just as much drama as Fusion or One Luv. It’s just not worth it. I’ll continue to work my butt off toward my retirement goal of 50 & making sure my customers, the people who pay my bills, have great experiences and leave my plane with a smile. Stay blessed!
Honesty time:
FA quality/work ethic is just as diverse as the workgroup itself.

Just flew a 4 day trip with a mix of both. I used my patented "it's on you" technique to try and coax a crew to serve on a full flight and they chose not to. I don't feel any sort of way about it, but when that seatbelt sign went off, the vibe sure did change. They flew with us for the next 2 days and served every leg after. I opened my wallet and made some food runs and got some coffees and we all got along great after that with the understanding that I am going to keep them safe, but our passengers expect their best effort.

I hate coming to work, but when I am there, I give it my best effort. Can you say that all of your coworkers do the same? A good 25-30 percent of them are lazy. I said it and I don't care. They are. We are here to provide the best experience possible for our passengers while keeping them and us safe. That means serving in light chop sometimes and not making excuses. It means not being on your phones. It means having a culture of service and being thoughtful towards our customers. Some FAs are cringy, mean, and downright demeaning. Nobody from Dallas has been minding the store and so that attitude has gone on unchecked. Had a 199k A flyer try the "oh, it's bumpy, did you say no service?" line on me. He got visibly upset when I asked him to check his avio connect because ops was asking him questions. The dude has been here 3 months. Ridiculous. He is in the biggest customer facing position the airline has and is giving you all a bad name.

I know most of you are here to work and are part of the team. Great. Welcome. Let's do what we came here to do and go home safely to our loved ones. But I also ask that we stop tolerating this BS culture of laziness that is so pervasive. Hopefully Dallas gets off their hind ends and starts policing it. The reason that your supervisors treat you guys like children is because about a quarter of you act like children.

I am not saying our workgroup is perfect. Far from it. You seem shocked about the comments here on a pilot forum where we come to vent. What I said above is why those comments happen. I suspect the FA groups have similar comments about pilots but I don't know because I will never visit them just like I don't check my wife's phone to see what she says to her friends about me.
