Yeah bro, it is. We have those stats and it’s currently 96% of ALL pilots at F9 have apps out……
But to be clear, there is another way to gain leverage: the training angle.
Just a guess but there are about 15% (200ish) pilots serving as LCAs and sim IPs. If that # went down (for the specific purposes of not having a contract), that’s leverage (and wouldn’t be an illegal work action). In fact, a few years back there was a “disagreement” and a few sim LCAs were either fired or quit and the general LCA community was upset at the company - mgt countered with higher pay.
But, it did highlight a vulnerability.
