Problem is no pay protection for RES.
I picked up a QS <18 on a LC day.
JFK-SAN
DH SAN-DTW
Layover
DH JFK.
Plan was DDH JFK. Long day but 13+ hours pay (10ish block, 3 is EDP)
Get a nonsensical reroute. Was going to make scheduled DH. We were arriving on time.
Now
DH SLC
layover
DH JFK
Now 10 hours pay vs 13.
Tried to DDH. IVR denied backside deviate.. CREW ASSIST "you are working tomorrow you have to talk to a scheduler"
By the time the scheduler got on phone, JFK had pushed.
