The point is that they're all relatively close in block times and likely vary per the time of day and traffic congestion. Let's be realisitic here... I don't think DL is to blame for the irrational blocktimes and there is certainly not a 13 minute scheduled block involved. Perhaps it became 13 minutes when the inbound was late... but Pinnacle never has an equipment swap after every turn do they? And certainly Pinnacle and their famous operational infastructure and history of debacles couldn't possibly be to blame could it? Nothing against the pilot group, but aside from the kool-aid drinkers... who at PCL can honestly say Uncle Phil and the crowd at Nonconnah have things under control? Airsuport - do you remember the Christmas debacle of 2004? and 2005?
since you didn't fly the flight, and i dont think the captain that posted it on our board is lying, i will take his word for it.

and yes they swap equipment all the time.

and no one thinks that uncle phil has everything under control. and yes i remember the debacle of 2005. i was brand new, and still remember that they had no idea which outstation i was at.

i did a little research and you were wrong about how the schedules are built on the delta side. yes at mesaba compass and pinnacle nwa give us the flights and we have to build them. it isn't like that on the delta side. they have full control over the planes, and times. just think what kind of mess it would make on the nwa side if they did all the line building for us. and then also did all the plane assignements. it would be a mess.
